派拉蒙影業最近為《樂來越愛你》導演達米恩查澤雷最新執導力作《巴比倫》舉行了首場試映活動，這部設定在好萊塢早期的時代喜劇，本週一晚間於比佛利山莊的塞繆爾戈爾德溫劇院放映，而首波反應也開始出現在社群平台上。
這部長達 188 分鐘的史詩喜劇是達米恩查澤雷今年衝奧的代表作，這位導演曾在 2016 年憑藉著《樂來越愛你》成為了有史以來最年輕的奧斯卡最佳導演得主，而由他執導的《登月先鋒》以及《進擊的鼓手》都各自在當年的獎季中獲得了優異的成績。
《巴比倫》卡司眾星雲集，由瑪格羅比、迪亞哥卡爾瓦以及布萊德彼特擔任主要角色，其他演員還有陶比麥奎爾、珍史瑪特以及賈方艾德波等。而根據導演的說法，本片幾個最大的靈感來源是費里尼的《生活的甜蜜》、勞勃阿特曼的《納什維爾》以及柯波拉的《教父》。

雖然《巴比倫》目前已經公開了首波社群媒體反映，但派拉蒙尚未訂下完整評論公開的時間。
《巴比倫》預計將會在 12 月 23 日於北美上映，而在原本的計畫中，導演曾打算向讓本片在聖誕節進行小規模起先放映，之後在 2023 年 1 月才正式上映，但片商則決定改變這項計畫，在 12 月底的節慶檔期就大規模上映，不難看出他們對於本片的信心。
